Misunderstanding from their staff led to 8 months of brickwalls, this agency feeds into the corruption of the QPS and denies good people a 'fair go'. Trying to deal with my situation and these people has sparked a major decline in my mental health, I've never felt so disrespected and isolated from the people i was raised to believe are here to protect and serve people like me. The Australian Police and Legal system are focused on turning everyone into a criminal one way or another, through lies and incompetence. Also, the saying "it's ok to say, you're not ok" is a load of bullshit, don't tell these people that your not ok regarding your legal issue because thats where i went wrong... 8 months of nothing. Thanks Legal Aid Queensland.

I would like to thank the receptionist that helped today, I was over whelmed with a lot going on and she gave me a wonderful lawyer to talk to. Highly recommend Jann the lawyer what great information and guidance. Thank you again for today ladies.

I was sent to get legal assistance from this place, but I don’t remember the name of the woman who helped me. However, I would recognize her voice if I heard it. As soon as I disclosed that I was Muslim, she interrupted me and said, “I’ve heard enough.” She then transferred me to others who were supposed to help, but they never got back to me. Her responses were very cold, judgmental, and completely uncaring.

You work at a place that’s supposed to help people, and you’re located in an area that’s very multicultural—yet you’re racist? Perhaps you should consider working in a less diverse area if you can’t treat everyone with respect.

The lady at reception is not helpful at at says she will call you back and never dose. The last thing you need in these hard time. Go elsewhere ull save time and heartache

The lady I spoke to on the phone was understanding, but the appointment she set for us to see the lawyer, it was at the wrong time. However the lawyer was happy to see us at that time, she was also very helpful.

Government department. Unless you are charged with an endictable crime. You WILL NOT get their help. THEY Know THAT BUT Make YOU Jump Through HOOPS ONLY to be Told, they only fund serious gaol able cases. Legal aid won't help you. Regardless.

Depends who you get. Most of the staff are paid to do nothing. You might be lucky to find a person who works for their party packet. They are the most useless staff members I've ever seen as for lawyers.. you can not count on them..
