As a Syrian migrant, I first migrated permanently to Australia 2.5 years ago from the UAE. My family had lived and obtained Australian citizenship by that point and I was the only one who remained on a PR visa.

Levant Lawyers notified me immediately when a new law came into effect that allowed for those with PR to apply for citizenship via conferral given that I was married to an Australian citizen and had 2 children who also were Australian citizens.
