My experience with Lighthouse Legal fell significantly short of my expectations due to their minimal and unprofessional service.

Attempts to reach them through emails or phone calls were ignored.

I only received my court documents one day before they were due to be presented to the defense, which was highly inconvenient.

Rather than initiating negotiations with the defendant weeks ahead, as I had hoped, my lawyer simply included the maximum settlement amount I had mentioned directly in the court paperwork.

I had expressed a desire to settle the matter outside of court well before the court date, a sentiment shared by my ex-partner. Despite requesting assistance for this, no action was taken on my behalf.

A brief conversation with my ex-partner's lawyers before the court session led to an agreement; however, it resulted in me being responsible for $6,000 in court costs.

Had my lawyer managed to settle outside of court, I could have ended their services, prepared and submitted the court paperwork myself, and appeared in court alone to potentially have the issue resolved more favorably.
