My experience with this solicitor was disastrous very disappointed and costly. This solicitor is a disgrace and as others have pointed out .. very poor understanding of the Law and only focussed on her paycheck .. give this business a BIG miss do yourself a favour look for another lawyer

Wish i could give a minus star. Incredibly rude and incompetent. I unfortunately had been assigned Linda as my lawyer, I'm so shocked that someone who speaks to her clients the way she does still has a functioning business.

From my first dealings with Linda, I was made to feel very uncomfortable by her short fuse and disgusting manners. As I explained to her, I'm a victim of domestic violence and the way she was speaking to me was disrespectful and triggering. She has no empathy or compassion for her clients, all she cares about is her paycheck. I'm now having to get legal aid to chase her for my grant money she claimed as she had currently done zero work for me but still thinks she's entitled to it.

No matter her skills as a lawyer, she's horrible to work with and needs to get a handle on her temper. No matter the situation, you shouldn't be speaking to people like that especially not people paying for your services.

Disappointing to say the least. From my experience using the Linda Emery & Associates, the review is incredibly bad.

I would say they may be good for the basics traffic fines, conveyencing, such as traffic fines or conveyancing, but for Family Law or more serious matters it is questionable as the Linda Emery & Associates really doesn’t stack up well in my opinion.

Whilst their service has been around for many years, it seems to me that the Linda Emery & Associates are more focused on themselves and what they do, rather than having any genuine care for their clients.

From my experience, I encountered plenty of overpromising and under delivering at the Linda Emery & Associates. Quiet often I would see crucial errors and mistakes made by Linda Emery & Associates, and when pointed out, they were either meet with an insincere apology, or a refusal of their wrong doings, even when it was pointed out on email.

I found it extremely traumatic and disappointing throughout. I was encouraged to engage with their services, as it was suggested that my previous solicitor had handled my Family Law matter so poorly, even to the point where they bad mouthed them in what I would say seemed more personal than business to business. Sadly now I find their services as incompetent as the previous solicitor. Perhaps a low standard is just the norm in terms of Gosford.

General dealings I experienced unusual and puzzling operational fundamentals at the Linda Emery & Associates. Besides an unhygienic office during these COVID times, I would say there seemed to be an avoidance in dealing efficiently, and excessively blaming COVID for the troubles.

Fundamentally there appears to be a lot of unprofessional nonsensical oddities here. I would see emails sent without my consent, emails that were sent to the opposing party and/or sent without allowing me sufficient time to respond (within 5-10mins). At times I would receive an email from the Linda Emery & Associates, and before having time to reply, an action by Linda Emery & Associates would have been taken without my consent. I had requested phone calls to minimize costs, or to send 1 email to cover several subjects, rather than 1 sentence emails, but of course Linda Emery & Associates would often refuse to do so, and then if I would request instructions via email, that would be refused likewise, and either referred to a Zoom chat or phone call, which would be days and weeks later, even for time sensitive material. Think you call that an oxymoron. It seems that the Linda Emery & Associates forgot to listen to their clients.

Admittedly I made a poor choice here, and I agreed to the “cost Agreement”, however it is probably not well known unless you are a seasoned professional, that whilst there is a “cost Agreement”, it needs to be noted that the frequency of emails and actions seems extremely excessive from Linda Emery And associates.

Still to date the Linda Emery & Associates are like a thorn in the side, as they have been paid in full for their services, or whatever you may call it. However there has been a refusal to release my file, even though it was promised via email. There is a refusal that any paperwork was ever in existence, and a refusal to act in a professional way to close of my dealings with their organization 🙁

This is of course my experience, and sadly I see very little positives for Linda Emery & Associates. No doubt I will receive a reply from Linda Emery & Associates, to which I will update this if need be.

I do hope this review is helpful both to the general punter and to Linda Emery & Associates, so that they may improve their services, as it is lacking badly. I am sure the Linda Emery & Associates will come back with more excuses, or to word things in their favour and water it down, or to attack me, it seems like a typical way to handle things at their office. But really if they had done everything by the book, their would be no reason for me to leave such a large and extensive review.

Pretty bad to be fair. Needed some pretty basic legal service, never heard such rudeness, short fused advice, and sometimes not even relevant advice.

Counter staff were otherwise friendly, perhaps they could give the owner some training on manners.
