We met Jacki to view a Red Range property Saturday 5.2.22. We were appreciative of her time on a Saturday. We communicated in advance, via a couple of phone calls, we would be making a special trip that would take us 12 hours by car, and cost over $1,000 in respite for a family member- so were serious buyers prepared to invest this time and money. Jacki really did not appear keen to meet us; she said she already had 2 offers (why stop at 2?). Anyway she met us. When we arrived, only then were we told a horrific crime had occurred at the property. The ad did say "the property has history"; one would not expect this to be in the ad - yet there were phone calls prior and she was aware the investment in our trip - no disclosure then. Also when we arrived it was pointed out a huge water leak - whereby water had been leaking between what appeared the bathroom wall into another room; making that room not usable. Bother those things whilst showing in my belief unprofessionalism- were not the key issues. The key issue was - Jacki stated we had to make a decision and offer by Monday upon our departure. We accepted this and were appreciative that she stated we could contact her over the weekend with questions. I texted her that Saturday afternoon to ask for the Conract. There was a vague comment she thought The Butter Factory "might" be heritage listed; we thought the Contract may provide this information since businesses was shut - making it impossible for us to conduct our own enquiries. No Reply. That Saturday afternoon I also called and left a voice message. No Reply. I then emailed sending a screen shot of the text message and asking for help as we would only have the Sunday to review the information to meet her deadline. No reply. So without both the Contract that would have provided information, and without Jacki making herself available as she'd offered- she cut us out of being in the running to make an offer. I wouldn't be too happy if I were the owner. Potentially you might have earned more. Jacki seemed potentially complacent in the fact she already had 2 offers; we were too much work. I sent a message Monday to complain and she did nothing to smooth the situation over - to keep us as buyers to make an offer. The day the offer was due  - she flicked the Cotract. This is the worst real estste encounter personally I have ever had. Just not interested in us, nor respect for us at all. She met us because I insisted but it's bleetingly obvious now it was a nuisance. I rang Council out of interest- they complained they'd been getting multiple calls about the heritage status. It took me 10 minutes to myself find this out yet the RE agent couldn't be bothered to disclose this / enquire. Common knowledge to locals The Butter Factory is 100 years + old I've since found out. This is unfortunately not a good review. If you'd treated us with a little more decency - we would not be writing this,. You made it impossible for us to make an offer with no information across a weekend (whereby also we couldn't even make our own enquiries when you were MIA).This is our personal experience, and I don't understand why the agent was like this.

contract had already signed off..
The real estate agent phones the buyers and tell them the vendors would like to give them most of the furniture in the house for free.
Buyers gladly accepts this kind offer and gives away their furniture to family, friends and the salvo.
Buyers come early for final inspection to find the furniture is all gone and the house bare.
The vendors were shocked as they did not make this offer to the estate agent for the buyer.
When Ben was challenged about this on the day. He said "he wife owns a furniture shop in town and would give a small discount".
This cost us $4,000.00 for furniture that we could have moved from our old house into the new house.
Would I now recommend JL HOOKER GLEN INNES----NO! NO! NO!
