I have no idea why this place is so well rated! It’s a motel behind a pub, my child couldn’t sleep because the DJ was still going strong at 10pm and cars kept coming and going, interspersed only by the occasional drop of bottles in the bin. The room smelled of damp, the bathroom seemed unfinished and overall you might as well be camping. Overpriced and overrated.

Nothing special. Overpriced. Clean but things like broken or missing blinds let this place down.
it's not beachfront as it claims to be and views are of the back of the pub only, although may be different from upper floor?
The location was very good as it's very close to town centre

Make sure to carefully read the directions for getting there as it's not called Lorne World!

Clean comfy quiet rooms in a great location within 100 metres of the Lorne main street and 200 metres from the beach. Rooms are well decorated with various themes. Check in and out was easy with plenty of friendly flexibility. Stayed here several times and will continue to return.

We stayed in the Thailand room and the pictures were accurate , it was lovely. There was a boutique feel to the room; it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Customer service very good and we were able to check in early. Great value for money.

The hotel room basically has everything you need and is also nicely furnished. However, it is also a bit unkempt in places (broken coat hangers, dirty dishes, partly dirty floor). Unfortunately, wifi doesn't work either (and it's not tricky as the management claims, but it doesn't work at all). There is no answer to queries about problems (at least not after you have paid). Overall, unfortunately, not a very pleasant experience.

Everything you could have wanted in an apartment, even down to a beach umbrella & towels. We stayed in California which had a great deck overlooking Lorne Beach. We couldn’t quite believe how well equipped this place was. Comfortable bed.

Best location, so close to the beach and shops. Immaculately clean and well appointed, they have thought of everything. Communication from the owners was perfect and clear and access so easy. Loved the themed rooms, fun and funky. We will be back!

What a unique and fabulous apartment - we stayed in the 'California' with its amazing decor. The apartments are 2 minutes walk away the shops and restaurants. We could see the main beach from our lovely little courtyard. Melissa was very friendly and made contactless check in easy. The apartment had everything we needed and more including a nice cold bottle of bubbles,.. Thanks Melissa, we had a wonderful break.
