Myself and my partner were first home buyers and Lotus Legal was recommended to be the settlement agent. As first-time homebuyers, we were expecting a clear, communicative, and supportive process, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of these expectations.

We encountered significant challenges with communication and transparency. There were multiple instances where we were left in the dark about important updates or next steps. When issues did arise, we had to proactively raise them ourselves, only to receive little acknowledgment or an apology for the oversight. Even more concerning was the fact that problems were often addressed quietly behind the scenes without any direct communication or explanation. As we were relying on professional guidance throughout this process, we found this lack of clarity and engagement incredibly frustrating. The absence of proactive updates left us feeling unsupported and uncertain, especially given the complexities involved in purchasing our first home.

An email was sent to Lotus Legal on 19/12/2024 explaining our experience. We have not heard back at this time.

Sadly, our experience with Lotus Legal did not meet these essential needs.

We hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve communication and service for future clients.
