This is Anne S recently I had the need to engage a Lawyer for Family and Property Matters, searching online is not fun but I found Matthew Love Lawyers, read the reviews and the first appointment was arranged. For me first impressions count, they either make it or break it and Michael Johnson got my tick of approval. Our Lawyer Client relationship was very professional although I could have a laugh with him so he is human, sincere, caring and listens to your concerns and also explains things in terms that are easily understood.
For all the reasons above I have no hesitation in recommending Michael to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I was with them for 18 months before I had finally had enough of getting nowhere with them. I went through 4 Solicitors (because they keep resigning ) 2 of which had little to no family law experience unbeknown to me however I was charged full fees for the 'expertise'. I was charged every time someone had to review my case and get up to speed, however was offered a credit for the 4th Solicitor to review my case because I dared to complain.

Due to their lack of experience I was given incorrect advise and this caused my case to drag on for a year longer than it needed to.

I was also charged for work that I did not ask or have knowledge was being completed at $360 per hour. When I questioned this I was told I would be refunded (and have it in writing) however I was never refunded and when I questioned this suddenly no one would respond to me. They have since helped themselves to funds from the funds in my property settlement which I am lead to believe is NOT allowed. I'm seeking further legal advise. They also ‘lost’ over $5,000 that was held in their trust fund for over a year. Not sure how this can happen as they are meant to audit their trust fund monthly to ensure this does not happen. Bad service, bad account keeping and bad advice. Steer clear!

When I finally left and found an experienced family law solicitor, my case was settled within months and I got everything I was entitled to. Don't waste your money going to Matthew Love Family Law. They will drag out your case as long as they can to get every cent out of you.

this is a terrible firm. they do not follow through with their services and charged me full fees whilst my case was "forgotten" and no final paper work was supplied. they also refused to refund my money back when i explained none of the services i paid for were actually delivered.
please if you are going through a separation do not use this firm as the stress of dealing with their incompetence greatly hinders the whole process
