Got Mabel to review some contracts, started the process and didn't hear back for 2 weeks out of a sudden. Emails were ignored. Didn't know what was going on so found another solicitor to do the job. She decided to reply out of the blue one day and apologised for the delay because she had urgent matters to attend to and 2 staff went on holiday. So this tells me that I am not an important client (my deadline means nothing to her), and the firm failed at managing their staff. A week later she sent me an email highlighting a few items on the contract that i should pay attention to and invoiced me for the half fast job. The solicitor that i found drew my attention to a whole page of items i should be looking into more carefully. Honestly though, don't waste your time, find yourself another lawyer if you want timely, professional and good quality work.
