I had the privilege of representing Neelakandan & Neelakandan and spending two weeks at Madgwicks Lawyers in Melbourne as part of the 2024 Meritas lawyer exchange program. The firm demonstrated a high standard of professionalism, coupled with a welcoming and supportive culture that fostered continuous learning and development.

These unethical lawyers are holding my money as part of a property purchase which failed to proceed by no fault of mine ! They refuse to respond to my lawyers emails and requests for my money to be returned ! I had to leave 1 star to write the review but they should be - 5 stars in my opinion , disrespectful and dishonest in my opinion and experience ! This will be going to court soon

If only I had read the reviews before taking them on. My first choice company was unavailable, and they put me onto this lot. They are what gives lawyers a bad name, and I would avoid at all costs. They offer poor advice, false promises, and string the case out while charging up to the failed ending. Apparently I had a straight forward case for compensation against the indemnity company of a previous family solicitor who has been struck off and facing jail time, and abandoned my case because of this. There were multiple successful cases against them, but not with these incompetents.They should join the other guy in prison.

Useless law firm. Two weeks ago my conveyancer requested a consent from a developer to sell our piece of land and Madgwick represents a developer. Two weeks are gone, no consent and no communication from Madgwick, so we can’t even start selling.
