Friendly knowledgeable staffs. Room was tidy and clean. The summer Garden bar was a nice touch to the place with live music.
Location is right in town and next to the beach.
Pool was large enough to swim and play. And offering clean towels and free iceypole were a nice touch.
Also found the table tennis room with some puzzles and toys to keep the kid busy while mummy and daddy hit a game of table tennis.
One thing to suggest is to keep that room cleaner: there was empty cups and wrappers in the room. Equipment need some updating: table tennis bat had pilled off.
Lots of outdoor games to play as well.
Overall a very relaxing fun holiday for us. Will

The welcome at checkin set the tone for a wonderful weekend of rest and relaxation. The staff were helpful, providing all the inside information needed to save time us time so that we could get on with our weekend of relaxing. The accommodation was in a perfect location, overlooking the beach, walking distance to cafes and local grocery store. The indoor pool was a favourite, especially during the rainy day. Fabulous resort with welcoming staff, a great combo for a fun weekend. Thank you.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights. The apartments were right next to the beach, and there were many restaurants near there. The buffet had different foods every day, and there was a coffee machine where we could have lots. Overall, this was a very family-friendly place to stay. There was a pool and a spa. If you are a member of Mantra, you could claim free drinks.

Clean one bedroom apartment, full kitchen which was great for Christmas Day. Comfortable bed. Lovely secure grounds for grandchildren. Lift and car parking was handy. Buffet breakfast was included and had everything and restaurant meal was good. Hop, skip and a jump to the beach. Close to shops. Can walk everywhere. A very lovely stay.

Basically near to beach so thats the good point, Lorne is not too big area, so over here mostly all are walking distance.
Our one room apartment comes with a sofa bed in the living which is so so soft ! Need to refurbish. The dish washer cant dry properly so maybe need a new one
As for the cleanliness, its so so , asked hotel to come back to vacuum when we check in
The laundry is not clean, tables and floor not properly cleaned too. Rooms are clean only every 3rd nights

The Lorne Mantra provided a wonderful stay when we attended a recent wedding. The location was lovely with the beach at your doorstep and a variety of cafes, restaurants and stores in walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was great and offered a variety of appetizing choices. Having stayed at The Mantra many years ago, not a lot has changed with the complex itself, perhaps the rooms and decor could do with a few upgrades and zhuzhing up.
Finally, unfortunately to check process was extremely lengthy at the 2pm check in time. Could do with extra staff at this time or perhaps initiate a staggered check in time.
Overall, a good stay.

Good hotel in the heart of Lorne - great location. We stayed in the Heritage section (the original Erskine House building). Just be aware no lifts in this building and as we were on the second floor there were 4 flights of stairs to negotiate and a loooong walk to our room. Other than that the hotel is fine. Breakfast was good. Guest laundry facilities were welcome and we used them. Beer garden off restaurant which is nice. Room itself has everything as listed on hotel site. Bathroom very nice and everything clean. One design flaw - the fridge is in the wardrobe. So when you hang your clothes they sit on top of the fridge ?‍♂️

Despite a lot of people checking in, the process was very smooth and simple. The room was clean, comfortable and in a good location 100m from the beach. We requested our room to be close to another couple we knew were staying there and our requested was granted. Welcome gift was an added bonus. Because of the great restaurants across the road we did not use any inhouse facilities. They do have Happy Hour everyday and a huge beer garden. Tennis and lawn bowls options avaliable. And a small putting green. Despite the large number of guest rooms, the resort is large and well laid out so you do not feel part of a crowd. But could be extremely busy over christmas / new year. Highly recomend for those seeking a beach staycation.
