Extremely disappointed with the experience we had with Marino Law’s family law department. Initially, they advised withholding their fees from our property settlement, which we agreed to. Our first meeting went well, and they gathered all the necessary information, but we didn’t hear back from them for six weeks. When we reached out, we were told that the lawyer had personal issues, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and allowed more time.

However, when they finally sent us the draft of our binding financial agreement, it was riddled with major spelling and information errors. After expressing our concerns, one of the partners explained that it’s ‘standard practice’ for their clients to go through drafts with errors to ‘fix them together.’ We felt this approach was highly unprofessional, especially as we were being billed by the hour to essentially proofread their work.

If you’re looking for a law firm that values accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication, Marino Law may not be the best choice. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their family law services to anyone.
