Talked to one of the solicitors for a second opinion on a criminal matter. She seemed very lovely and helpful and said she will get back to me to inform of the costs and whether the case would be worth fighting for. After several weeks and up to a month, still no reply. So contacted the principal and he gave me the lip that nothing is for free. Would have accepted the answer at the outset rather than making people wait for 4-5 weeks. If it was possible to give a 0, I would.

Hi Max. I spoke to you once and you guys said you'd get back to me to see if you could help. If you count the back and forth exchange follow-ups as a consult also, then then I am gobsmacked. I appreciate everyone is trying to run a business but you have to understand as a potential client, we need to know whether you can help or not. I told your worker that I had already approached a few legal firms and got charged for the same advice. That's why I needed to know where you service differentiates from them and worth coming onboard. If your firm were more straightforward with your answer rather than keep people waiting for weeks, then I would have moved on. Thanks Max.

Unfortunately that's where it ends. He advised the prosecutor of a guilty plea without first asking permission from myself the client or advising that is what will be done, which any legal practitioner has an obligation to do.

Max I think you need to understand whether you are treating your customers only as clients, or as clients and human beings. I suggest taking a free course at TAFE in running a small business

He forgot to show up to court and forgets who his past clients were, this is sad but hilarious
