When I began my first property purchase (buying off the plan) I approached several firms for an indication of their rates and the services offered. Maxwell & Co were the only ones to respond to my query in a timely manner. Throughout the 3 year process I found my solicitor, Megan, to be consistently helpful and responsive - I don't think I ever waited more than an hour for Megan to get back to me. I found the service to be 'personal' in that Megan never had to refresh herself on my matter, she always knew who I was and the property matter I was enquiring about.
As a first time purchaser I really appreciated the time Megan took to go through the process with me, and the updates and reminders she provided via email.
Overall my first foray into the property market has been quite stress free - I kept waiting for the last minute panic and things to do, but they it didn't eventuate and I can't help but feel that the conveyancing solicitors had a lot to do with that - thanks to their advice and guidance I had all my ducks in a row.
