I have used McGillivrays for over 10 years for a variety of services. Particularly selling and purchasing properties. My father died in 2004, Ian Mcgillivray handled a protracted legal issue over the will after the first solicitor made too many errors (Ian is family) I endured lies verbal abuse every stall tactic in the book every time I tried to find the progress of the case, the end result was a win but no thanks to Mcgillivray himself, however he waited for settlement then issued his bill...guess what is was within cents of the total amount..he took the lot, my own family ripped me off, then he closed the file and did not get the legal costs the court awarded me, I had to go to the courts and find all this out and go through all the distress again thanks to his total negligence and complete dishonesty, I love family, but Ian Mcgillivray is one disgusting human being, do not use him for legal work on family matters, all that matters to him is lining his own pocket, but get this...my father's ashes were in dispute, he secured them and how sick is this, he put my father's ashes in Australia Post to send to the funeral home, the grief and stress this vile man caused me is immeasurable
