I had the misfortune of being (for the first time in my life), embroiled in a criminal dispute with my partner's ex husband.
I was recommended McGirr by a very trustworthy person in the family law field.
Simon & Ernie were extremely professional and took the time to prepare a fool proof defence of my case.
Ernie then delivered a flawless performance in court, we got the right and just outcome ... and he then went toe to toe with the judge and Police prosecutor, seeking to recover my costs, refusing to give up when most would. And in fact he came within a hair's breadth of achieving this ruling against the Police !
Which is an extremely high bar.

I also noted that their offices are not vast expanses of space overlooking Sydney Harbour - so I found this immediately encouraging, as it meant their fee would hopefully not be inflated to cover extortionate rent !
As it turned out, their fee was exactly that. Extremely reasonable. Value for money, without question.
