Tim Mead Accounting/Chequers Financial
I left most of my tax information with Danesh in June of 2023 I explained that we had 2 years to lodge and in the next month it would be 3 years. I was concerned that we would be in violation but he assured me there was an amnesty in place and he would look after everything once he had his other clients up to date.
After me dropping in the rest of our files and at least 3 more phone calls to the office over the next 5 months I have now received letters from the ATO threatening fines for late lodgement.
I received a call back this morning from the office asking for a couple of our tax file numbers.
I then realised that nothing has been done with my file in 5 months!
We’re in a position where we may receive fines and Danesh couldn’t be bothered calling me himself to apologise and offer a speedy resolution to this.
He is never in the office when I call.
VERY POOR ATTITUDE AND SERVICE FROM THIS ACCOUNTANT
