I contacted Michael to prepare a defence brief. He replied the same day (it was a Sunday) and took details of the events I engaged him for. Michael then gave me a couple of defence options, the likelihood of success with each and the probable outcomes. My choice was the riskier strategy in the hope of no conviction recorded. Michael took his time getting his ducks in a row.
Result, one charge dropped prior to sentencing (this took time to achieve as there was strong evidence) and no conviction recorded for the other offence.
Communication was brief but concise which saved me money.
Michael knows his way around the legal maze and was professional in the courtroom plus the outcome was what I could only hope for.

I was referred to Michael McMillan from a trusted family friend and spoke to Michael over the phone a couple of times in regards to him representing me at court. When the court day came there was no Michael McMillan and yet no lawyer present at all.
I had to get the matter adjourned myself and now Michael McMillans firm informs me that a different lawyer will be representing me in which I already know this lawyer and is cheap and nasty if you like and could have just went to him if i wanted in the beginning.
I have asked for a full refund in which they have refused and only offering a small portion back.
I am disgusted with there so called professionalism and the whole experience with Michael McMillan and his firm in general.
