The best wedding venue. We had the best NYE wedding 1 month ago. Such a relaxed yet helpful and wonderfully accommodating venue. The multi-day celebration allowed us to welcome, kick-on and recover with our guests and came together perfectly.

Having our wedding at Midginbil made the weekend so extra magical. The team are so genuine, friendly and experienced, and allowed us to create an unforgettable experience. Having everyone stay on site for the weekend meant we got actual quality time with all our guests, the freedom to choose all our own vendors, decor, timings, and activities was so great and a point of difference from the all-inclusive venues we shopped around at. While doing this kind of DIY wedding was a lot of work for us, it was so worth it in the end, because we got something truly unique and US. Wedding recovery around the beautiful pool was a massive highlight! The venue were really helpful clearing up any questions and keeping us chilled out in the weeks leading up. The team all know how special Midginbil is and really want you to enjoy your time there. All the meals provided outside of the wedding were yummy, generous and considerate of everyone's dietaries. One thing to be aware of is all the accommodation admin is on the couple - be prepared to be assigning beds, collecting dietaries, & payment from guests. Venue provides a spreadsheet for this but its one of the bigger tasks you'll need to be across in the months before the wedding. Everyone fell in love with Midginbil, we're still getting 'best wedding ever' feedback and we're so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here, our expectations were exceeded and we had the BEST TIME.

“That was the best wedding ever,” said so many of our guests after our weekend at Midginbil. Wedding days fly by but by having the whole weekend to spend with all of your loved ones made it so much more memorable. Russ, Kate, Mel, Seth and the team are amazing, they allow for a seamless, stress free and ‘blank canvas’ style weekend where you are free to create the wedding that you and your lover desire. I cannot recommend Midginbil Eco Resort enough as a wedding venue and if I could, I would do it again! Big love to the team ❤️

We couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding venue! The weekend hire package gave us the time to connect with all our family and friends. Food was lovely and the staff are welcoming and supportive. If you are looking for a relaxed and dreamy atmosphere, this is for you. If you have a lot of guests from different parts of your life, having the Friday evening means that everyone gets to know each other before the big day. As a result, we had no awkwardness and more dancing on the Saturday!

As a DIY venue, you can make the details of your day exactly what you want, which we really appreciated. However, we do recommend hiring Renee at Help me Hitch as well to assist with coordination so you don't get overwhelmed - she knows the venue very well.

The location is stunning, and accommodation accounts for guests with a range of budgets and tastes.

There are so many beautiful places to get married in the Northern Rivers but nothing compares to Midginbil Eco Resort. We had the most sensational wedding and everything was perfect…even the weather! With a blank canvas and picturesque backdrop we had a truly amazing three day event. The accomodation was terrific and catered to a variety of guests and their preferences. We also comfortably fit 120+ people at the venue with room to spare. The Midginbil team were helpful in the lead up to our big day and also across the weekend. We couldn’t fault this place and couldn’t be happier that we had our wedding here- memories for a lifetime.

A magical wedding that we never knew was possible.

Not only is the place aesthetically breathtaking but the staff who own and work at Midginbil are just some of the most beautiful souls who were so accommodating to the needs of our guests.

We would 10000000% recommend Midginbil Eco Resort to anyone. The DIY style wedding was a big project and challenging at times, but the result was a weekend that truly felt authentic to us (not to mention probably one of the most economical ways to plan a wedding).

We had infinite help from the staff throughout the entire process too.

If amplified music was allowed past 11pm that would've been the cherry on top however we were still able to play music through our boom speakers until the early hours of the morning.

If you ever get the chance to visit this place, do not pass it up.

Midginbil Eco Resort was the perfect venue for our wedding. We wanted a wedding where our guests could stay on-site with us and to be able to kick-on well into the night. Mountain views as our ceremony backdrop was a massive plus! Being a complete DIY venue does mean you need to be prepared for more wedding planning, but we enjoyed having complete control over things and also we think it works out more affordable this way. The team were awesome to deal with and the info pack they supply upon booking is super helpful. They were always quick to reply to any further questions we had. Our guests were all really happy with their rooms and the meals provided over the weekend. The bridal suite for getting ready in is stunning and the bride & groom cottage accom is super cute and a great location near the reception barn for breaks away during the night and a dress change. The furniture they include & offer some for hire is really handy too. Thanks so much for everything guys! We are super happy and highly recommend.

We can’t thank Mel, Seth and the Midginbil team enough for allowing us to share their beautiful venue with us for our wedding.
The moment we drove up to the homestead, we knew this place was magical. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, all the shades of green and the noises of nature, it is a small slice of northern rivers paradise. And we had the most amazing time! With the Midginbil team, you have the true freedom to plan, decorate and run your celebration however you imagined! We celebrated our wedding in February and even with the most hot and humid conditions, everyone had a ball! The pool and tennis courts entertained the kids (and adults) for hours, and all our guests remarked how relaxing it was to be able to spend 3 days there. The food provided by Midginbil was so delicious, the accommodation was cosy and comfortable and it really felt like your own for the weekend.
The Midginbil team have created such perfect locations for the ceremony and reception, catering for all weather conditions. Our only wish was that we could’ve stayed for a whole week celebrating!
