Not even slightly thrilled with our experience.

We chose Millard based on our selling agents recommendations also based on a relatives poor experience with another local business

Our buying agent also suggested we use Millard, and when we said we were using them for selling our property, he suggested we ask for a discount, given we would use them for both properties.

When my wife enquired, the lady acted as if no one has ever asked that before, however agreed to consider it.

To the best of our knowledge, nothing came of it...

The settlement didn't go through on the property we were selling due to an issue with the buyers finance..

We didn't receive a call until 445pm on a Friday to notify us, settlement was booked at 11 ish.

They had updated the agent at 2pm when he enquired.. didn't bother to let us know.

I spoke to my wife and called back to discuss with Millard, I was spoken to with a poor attitude, like it was my fault the property didn't settle.

I was also told 'i would have' and 'i did tell your wife' this and that..

However, no conversation had been held with my wife at all in regard to the settlement.

The only discussion which had been held was in regard to an earlier settlement, 2 weeks prior.

Therefore, I was lied too.

We were sent some forms to be completed in relation to our purchase, the information to be filled is usually mostly prefilled by the Conveyanceor and in conjunction with our finance broker.. however we were expected to do it.

The type of form that if there was even one mistake, our new house wouldn't have settled.

We filled the form, however insisted it was confirmed with our broker.

We will provide this advice and experience to both of the agents for their information when proving recommendations to their clients..
