3 weeks ago my partner accidentally transferred money the this law firm and since then we trying to get his money back which is $1400. we have been calling the office about it every single day trying to get it and everyday there come to us with same bullshit excuse. Today we found out that there holding his money because he owes them money which they can’t because the firm has to get paid when the case is finished and this accidental transfer has nothing to do with that at all. Feeling so frustrated because the person holding on to his money has no respect for himself and to his firm reputation and transfer the money back or return back to out calls or messages we have left him his completely ignoring everything.

They had the right to take me to court however an independent witness claimed damage was so minor he suggested the other driver move on without incident after one fleet car accidentally rolled forward and left all but a visible scratch on the bumper of another fleet car yet the claimed damage bill exceeded $8,000. The client they claimed to represent verbally told me he knew of no law firm acting in his defence and would do nothing to substantiate his claims neither would Minas and Associates when challenged. He said he takes his vehicle to the repairer, which he’s done several times and a few days later it comes back repaired. Upon learning this I called the smash repairer but there was no answer, however paperwork they sent me suggested the vehicle to be repaired was assessed two days after it left the workshop and Minas and Associates thought nothing of this and proceeded adding more and more costs even though I had made previous attempts to settle this matter with them out of court. I walked into three police stations alleging I suspect someone is making fraudulent claims and I suggest they take a closer look and investigate however all three police stations told me this is not a police matter.
