I took my car hey here for a simple battery replacement, went back to the car and it didn’t work so I went back, he gave me a refund then told me the whole key needed to be replaced. Got home, opened up the key and he had been putting the battery in the wrong way. Would not recommend

I had the worst customer service experience of my life when I took a very expensive near new 18k gold watch in yesterday to have the bracelet adjusted. I asked the guy (manager) if he could adjust the size of the bracelet on an 18k gold watch to which he said yes. He took the watch and immediately started to hack at it with several different sized screwdrivers whilst shaking his head and sighing loudly. He stopped twice while I was waiting to serve other people and take bookings and cash. Then he told me that the near new screws were worn out and no good. He then handed back the watch which was totally scratched, gouged and ruined and told me there was nothing he could do. 1 of the pins falls out on its own because it's been threaded and the other 2 are destroyed. He offered no apology or compensation and kept saying the screws were old and worn out even though the watch is 3 months old. Check the attached pic of his handy work. I am going to seek legal advice against him and this outlet.

Had a wonderful encounter after losing a heel, and the fantastic team replaced it for me on the spot. Also conveniently located next to an indoor soft play area for kids, where even adults standing around in their socks whilst waiting for their heels can go unnoticed 🙂 thank you crew!!!

5 minute adjustment for my watch links

Looks great, fits well. Not a hard job but I scratched mine the last time I adjusted my bracelet.

I think ymmv depending on the material of your watch bracelets. Mine was stainless steel. If I had to, I'd order a new bracelet.

Staff were patient and kind, also helped with a few shoe product related injuries.

If you have more expensive items, you'll be better served going to an experienced private jeweler with extensive experience. Jewelers refused to service my watch due to the liability associated with damaging my bracelet and the warranty associated. You do take some risk when you don't take product to a recognized service Centre, particularly with watches. Ultimately, it's user choice to how and wear it's serviced.

If the watch or item costs several thousands of dollars, have it serviced properly ie Rolexes. If it's less than 1000 or 500, then it's likely a utilitarian piece, just have it done wherever is reputable.

Had an amazing experience at Mister Minit at Belconnen. I brought in a pair of well-loved leather boots that were in rough shape, and Ahmed worked their magic. The craftsmanship was outstanding – he repaired the soles, polished the leather, and made them look brand new again. The service was quick and reasonably priced. Would go there again for my shoe repair needs!
