I never write reviews at all. But was absolutely mortified by the service I got from this store.
I took my ring to get re-glued back into place as the gem stone fell out.
Came back and they put a green glue. It’s a clear rooted quartz, so you could see the green glue. He said “no the glue isnt green that’s the stone”. I mentioned I was not happy with that and why didn’t they use a clear glue instead. He grabbed the glue to “prove it wasnt green” and guess what. It was BRIGHT GREEN. The older man said he will fix it. I came back let on that day. He hands me the ring and I’m absolutely appalled. He has completed destroyed my ring. The gem stone isnt fitted into place, the green glue is still there, he has chipped and cracked the stone and it’s absolutely rubbish. I say what the heck is this and he said didnt crack it and gave it to me without any sort of apology or empathy. He said there is nothing he can do. And only gave me a refund of the $15 for job after I asked for it. Rather than him say “I’m so sorry I ruined your ring, heres a refund”. How indecent do you have to be.

Went in to repair my watch with a new pin for the strap. Did it on the spot and didn’t even charge me, even though i insisted. Obviously great values and will be back there for my other repairs ?

My son’s watch band was stuck I couldn’t remove it. Mr minute had to cut the pin to get it out. They placed the spare pin in and put the watch band back on for me. They didn’t charge me a thing! Thank you for a great service. I really appreciated it.

Service was good till I ask kindly if they could open a battery to put on my Control remote and the said it's against the law so I decided to ask if I could use their scissors to open the battery that I bought from them and the again said it's against the law that they could open it for me but will be extra $10-15 I can't remember exactly what they said. Thank you

Dishonest & Rude!!! Beware!!

Not impressed by the absolutely awful dishonest service I received at Robina yesterday.
I have been coming to Mister Minit for over a decade for various services includes shoe repair, key cutting, watch link removal, watch battery replacement, etc for myself and my family. Service and pricing is usually reliable and reasonable hence why I've never gone anywhere else.
I came in on Saturday to get the battery replaced on 2 cheap watches. No pressure testing /water resistant or sealing extra services. Again these were cheap watches.
I didn't first ask for a quote, because as I said, I've been coming for years and am quite familiar with the pricing.
When I came to pick them up the man said $59.90 to which I nearly fell over. I thought he made a mistake (it was a different man than the man I saw when dropping them off).
I questioned him. And he said the amount was right. I again questioned explaining I come there all the time, it's usually 16.95-18.95. He started becoming very rude and gas lighting me saying that I was wrong, and that it's never been the price that I claimed it was and that it's 'always' been 29.95 each! I tried to disagree but it was no use, he was becoming ruder and I was not able to take the watches without paying the ridiculous price he tried to convince me was right.
I'm extremely upset. He is being so detrimental to your company and you've lost a loyal customer.
