At a time in life when emotion and stress is likely to be at its peak, it was a pleasure to deal with a firm like MTM Lawyers. Susi was able to decipher between the emotion and reality of the difficult circumstances around my Family Law case, but represented with professionalism whilst demonstrating compassion and support throughout the process. Susi offered advice that was in the best interest of me and my children moving forward whilst ensuring I was not compromised in the process. A pleasant surprise to talk to a Company with polite , confidant and informed information to provide. Right from the receptionist to advice from their lawyers themselves. As a solicitor in Queensland (currently of the non-practising variety) I have to say that the reply by owner, presumably solicitor Michael O'Reilly, to reviewer DianeC, does not appear to me to be appropriate. It discloses an email address and information about the personal financial affairs of DianeC, which that reviewer presumably provided to MTM Lawyers on a confidential basis with a view to a possible retainer of that law practice. The reply by owner also has a level of anger and hostility which is not really appropriate, in my opinion -- it is disproportionate. I have no doubt that the owner of any business has the right to reply to any review. One would think he or she lawfully may do so in reasonable but strongly expressed terms. But reading this review and reply, one cannot help but thinking DianeC is perhaps right to thank God that she did not use MTM. I don't think they would have gotten along.

I emailed for a quote and I also responded with further information they required for the quote. I still didn't get a quote from them so I advised them thanks, but I have received other quotes already so no need for their quote anymore. I then got a sarcastic reply from Mike
commenting on my email address!! The fact is Mike, 2 other solicitors easily gave me a quote without a big fuss when you only responded to me late afternoon. My email was polite and I thanked you, no need for the arrogance that followed! Thank goodness I did not use you as my solicitor!!
