This store used to be amazing. BUT it has just changed owners and they are useless! I just had my car towed in as it broke down on the roadside. (Only got it towed there as the old owner I've dealt with for years was amazing) Turned out I had a ceased motor. Which they didn't find out until putting parts in a redundant motor. But instead of telling me that (after having my vehicle for days) or even checking my vehicle properly as any decent mechanic would if a vehicle comes in broken down, they decided to put a new gasket in. Doing all of this without a phone call. He , the new owner, Shane was extremely rude, and who I assume is his wife has no idea what she is doing either. Charge me for the privilege and then tell me I have a ceased motor and want to charge me to put a new one in. Why I would do that when you don't even see what is wrong with a broken down vehicle before putting new parts in is beyond me!! So then I have to get my vehicle towed to another town 50 minutes away to get a new motor put in from a reputable mechanic. These new owners are definitely not reputable. They are standover merchants and I do not want others getting ripped off in a small town. BEWARE! GO ELSEWHERE!

Beware and go elsewhere ! Who puts a tappet cover gasket into a seized engine ! SHANE does . My Hilux ute arrived on a tilt tray and I explain to the mechanic that it died on the highway I lost power there was a loud rattle and a big puffer white smoke I continue to explain that I think it was the tappet cover gasket because we lost all the oil on the highway and you could see were it came from . A week later I get a phone call from Shane saying that they put in a tappet cover gasket. He tried starting at but the car is seized . While putting my ute onto another tow truck to take it to a real mechanic . I ask Shane if he had check to see if the motor was seized he replied no we didn't you said to put a gasket in and I replied by saying but I'm not the mechanic you are. We miss you Davo
