I had a very negative experience with Naomi Liu Legal. After being referred to Naomi Liu by the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), I attempted to contact her by phone for a migration consultation. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't reach her directly. When she finally responded via SMS, she asked me to explain my query.

I informed her that I had a referral from LIV and wanted to discuss my visa options. Shockingly, she refused to assist with the LIV referral. From the very beginning, her demeanor was unkind and unhelpful. It was clear that she had no interest in providing the support and guidance I needed.

Given my experience, I cannot recommend Naomi Liu Legal to anyone seeking migration advice. The lack of professionalism and disregard for potential clients is unacceptable. If you are looking for a migration lawyer who is attentive, supportive, and willing to help, I strongly suggest seeking assistance elsewhere.

Firstly, I have indeed tried to contact you multiple times, but your phone system does not accept direct calls. This lack of accessibility is highly unprofessional, especially for a legal service provider. Typically, professionals like lawyers and accountants ensure they are reachable to avoid frustrating potential clients. The SMS reply asking 'what was it regarding?' felt impersonal and dodgy.

Secondly, I am fully aware of the terms of my LIV referral, which entitles me to a 30-minute consultation—not free legal advice. My intention was to use this consultation to understand your legal fees and processes. However, you repeatedly insisted on paying the consultation fee without providing any preliminary guidance. This raises a crucial question: What is the purpose of the 30-minute consultation if you refuse to offer even basic information about your services without upfront payment?

To make matters worse, I was able to consult with another lawyer using the same LIV referral, and they were more than willing to explain the entire process and their costs within the 30 minutes, even following up with a detailed email.

In summary, my experience with your services was unsatisfactory. Your reluctance to engage in a meaningful conversation without immediate payment, coupled with poor communication methods, suggests a lack of professionalism and client care. I would not recommend your services to anyone seeking help with immigration matters.
