TERRIBLE SERVICE, do not recommend & will never use Hal Curwen-Walker again. Engaged CW for conveyancing. I was not advised by them that they would also be acting for the buyer until it was too late, contracts signed. Very greedy, unethical, unnecessary & an obvious conflict of interest resulting in financial loss. The buyer was trespassing before settlement, removing & burning vegetation, using chemicals & installing fencing without my knowledge or consent. Part of the property was leased to a tenant to run cattle. Hal's response to me was that the buyers were not at fault "having been legally admitted to the property by the tenant". Obviously the tenant cannot authorise this. My rights were ignored because CW were acting for both parties. I was their client before the buyer & paying them to represent me but Hal really let me down.
