Would not recommend, shame you can't give zero stars. The experience was poor right from the beginning. When I arrived for the initial consultation, I was provided with a bunch of irrelevant forms to fill out because my enquiry had been confused with someone elses and they thought I was there because of a completely different matter. The offices are not soundproof so when I was sitting in the waiting room while the person I was with was getting advice, I could hear the conversation. This would be a huge concern if people in the waiting room could hear other peoples confidential conversations.

When I tried to make an urgent follow up appointment to review a single document, I was asked to pay a retainer of thousands of dollars. When I queried the quote for a simple document review and asked if there had been an error given the intial mix up with my enquiry, I did not hear back for over a week and only after I followed up, I was then told there was no one at the centre could help and was told to use Qld Law Society's " Find a Solicitor" service instead.

Considering that I had indicated the urgency of my matter, I found it incredibly poor form to take so long to effectively tell me I was not worth their time. Seems like their "purpose of providing experienced and affordable support in the areas of Family Law, while never loosing focus on the community that we live and work in" is just marketing BS.

UPDATED IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENT:
Aside from the fact that as a legally appointed EPOA for both my parents, I have a legal obligation to ensure THEIR interests are protected – not mine - which is why I even bothered to source legal advice for both of them in the first place (and I am the one who offered to leave the room); and the fact that the agreement being referred to was the recommendation THIS FIRM PROVIDED their (apparent) "client” AT THIS CONSULTATION which led to his request– not mine - to arrange the follow up appointment to get the agreement that this firm suggested in place….. lying, sharing potentially confidential information on a family matter, resorting to a personal attack and throwing derogatory remarks at me instead of addressing legitimate failures in the service provided, says a lot more about the owner and her associate’s character than it does about mine. I hope this review and this appalling response serves as a warning to other potential customers how this firm deals with customer service and client confidentiality.
