We just used NXT legal for the purchase of our apartment. It wasn't a horrible experience but enough things weren't ideal to the point I don't recommend. Firstly, a little thing but they kept spelling my name wrong. Aka Holly, not Hollie. My name is in my email address and the sign off for every email I sent to them so it's very unprofessional to not take notice on correct spelling. I work in a corporate environment myself and checking you've spelt a client's name correctly is common courtesy.
Secondly, they said I didn't send through an important document and that they were waiting for it for a week.. but I sent it already. I had to reference back to the email I sent and they replied "oh yes sorry must of missed that"...
Now I get that happens sometimes but when you're in a legal position, you'd think attention to detail was better executed.
Lastly, the day before settlement, I got an email saying me and my partner had to print & wet-sign a document.. and get a non-related witness to sign it.. asap.. to the point I got a follow up asking if it's done a few hours later.
That was crazy to me. To leave a form that late. The day before settlement. Luckily we were working from home, had a printer and a friendly neighbour or else I don't know what would have happened. That is a major concern because lots of people wouldn't be able to accommodate with such short notice. They also sent another email on settlement saying they didn't account for X and increased fees - that's fine but on-top of everything.. not impressed.
Anyways, that's my two cents. Not horrible but I think there are definitely more experienced, professional options out there.
