Carmen assisted us with our set up of Xero in 2014. She has provides assistance on any BAS issues as they arise. I cannot recommend Carmen more highly. She is extremely knowledgeable in Xero. Our initial set up in Xero was complicated but Carmen worked through all of the issues and got us up and running quickly. I am extremely glad that I didn't try to do the set up myself. It would have taken many many many hours and have been a false economy. Carmen also trained me in how to use Xero via Skype shared screens (I am in Hobart) and this worked surprisingly well. She was able to show me the shortcuts when entering data into Xero, which aren't really made clear in the Xero help system.
Whenever I run into a BAS irregularity, I know that I can email Carmen and she will attend to the problem promptly. Because she knows the possible causes of General Ledger inconsistencies, she can quickly identify the incorrect Xero entries. Earlier in the year I found a problem with the BAS. I went over the GST Audit Report for at least an hour myself but then I gave up and emailed Carmen. She found the incorrect entry within 15 minutes.
In summary, Carmen made our transition to Xero very easy and it is great knowing that if I have a BAS problem, she will know the correct way to rectify the problem.

I went to this company to set up deputy and xero. It took them over 6 weeks and more than $2k and it was still not set up properly. When questioned why it took them over 14 hours with little to no outcome Carmen advised it was due to a lot of "background" work that I probably wouldn't understand. Carmen said each line item from the award needed to be set up to make sure leave accrues properly, this is a complete lie as Xero accrues leave per employee in the employee set up not the pay items! Absolute scam artists.

An overall really poor experience with this company. We used them for a start up that we are involved with and their attention to detail and work has been pathetic. I would strongly suggest to reconsider to use this company.

Without going into every detail, as an example, they could not even allocate our receipt for the monthly Xero fee as they 'required advice from the company'. How does a Bookkeeper not know where to file the monthly fee for Xero for a small, simple company. Further, the 'manual' that they kept for the company was limited to less than 1/2 a page of information and had not been updated since inception.

On cancelling the contract, they proceeded to charge a break-fee despite not doing any work for the company in the prior 3+ months. They had not even signed into the company Xero file in that period as shown in our Xero log. We asked for consideration as we are a small start up and this was met with rudeness, arrogance and disdain from their staff.

We take full responsibility for not cancelling the contract with them earlier as they were not performing or completing the tasks outlined in the contract. However, we wanted to alert others that were thinking to potentially use this company in the future.

I would strongly suggest to reconsider to use this company. To keep this professional, I have not mentioned any direct names and will not list their extensive breaches of the contract as this is part of legal proceedings. However, if anyone wants further examples, please reach out directly.
