We recently used OpenLegal for the sale of our company. What initially seemed to be a simple process became quite a protracted and frustrating one at times. Jennifer Wang and the team at OpenLegal helped us through every step of the process with professionalism, care and consideration. Jennifer always responded quickly to my calls and emails and her advice was invaluable. She has an excellent understanding of the process and drafting of share sale contracts. OpenLegal had quoted on a fixed cost agreement and they did not waiver from this quote. The quote was specifically for the drafting of the contract. We were aware that Jennifer ended up having to re draft the contract numerous times due to wording requests from the purchasers to finalise the contract. The time taken was well above what she had quoted for. We engaged her for some further work on an hourly basis but once again she was extremely reasonable and helpful and charged the bare minimum for her extra time which I am very grateful for. For small companies legal fees can be scary as you hear many stories of how the costs blow out. This was not the case with OpenLegal. I would be very happy to recommend Jennifer Wang and OpenLegal to anyone looking for an experienced legal team to work with. I would also have no hesitation in using OpenLegal again for any other legal matters that could arise in the future.
