The entire team at Oswald Legal have since day one, by far exceeded my expectations as my legal representatives in every way that I thought a firm could possibly have. And in ways that I never realised to be possible - Their expansive, thorough and sophisticated approach to dealing with a criminal matter and a very complex civil matter has been a master class from day dot;

Firstly making contact with Adam, the owner, a fantastically re-assuring and jovial feller who had an answer to every question that I had. I had no problems calling Adam another time which was after hours, with that said their 24/7 contact is very reliable and valuable product that Oswald Legal have.

It’s important to mention that once I had arrived at their Joondalup office, I straight away felt welcome. It's a comfortable, friendly, and all the while very professional environment. Which speaks volumes for how the company and their product thrives, function's and breathes in my opinion.

Mariana was the second person I spoke to at the firm.
It's just nice when you have an issue that needs resolving and your high hopes are met by, put simply, a lovely human being!
Somebody with character, care and with a high work ethic. It was always a pleasure to call the desk or sit in their waiting room and chat with Mariana.
People like Mariana are essential to everything and the world would grind to halt without them.

Andrew, was the first lawyer to represent me in a very complex matter. I met with Andrew / Oswald legal a week before a trial as I had decided to change representation.
My situation was heating up and I felt like I had no control over my future.
Straight off the bat, Andrew did exactly what your representation should be doing for you, by challenging the people or factors. The people and/or factors that always seem to make going and being in court [lets be honest] an utterly terrifying experience.
Andrew is an all-round extremely knowledgeable and confident lawyer and a good bloke.

Then there is Matthew Townsend. Matt very successfully represented me in a criminal matter.
Matt is a near on unique lad who I am genuinely happy to have crossed paths with. He is an intelligently witty and a very likable, professionally funny, larger than life sort of bloke. Which in my opinion is the fundamentals of a recipe for a truly great lawyer.
From the time between meeting Matt and going to trial (which he rightfully so had completely dismantled before the trial date by the way!) I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from me and I began to recuperate after a very traumatic and time extensive period.

I always found Matts clever approach to the matter very inspiring, and through-out the approximate 3 months until it was quashed, I was thoroughly impressed by the effectiveness of this particular strategy of his as it all unfolded. He did exactly what he said he would do and kept me up-to-date with how it was all tracking along.
This was very welcoming and uplifting when I found myself in a situation that I for many months already at that stage, just wanted over!
Then after the un-settling and very trying period of months in my life, I finally did get some well deserved peace of mind.
And I largely owe that to Matt!
I could not possibly recommend a lawyer more than Matthew Townsend from Oswald Legal.

As frustrating as that time of my life was and probably still will be for some time still, my sincere gratitude to all in the business is a testimony to Oswald Legal's straight-to-the-point approach in their hard work, their very important part in society and is an applause to their staff who each individually and as a business should feel very proud of themselves for the work that they do and the difference that they make. I am certain there has been many thus far, and far more to come in the future!

Adam Oswald is the best criminal lawyer I have ever worked with. From our first meeting, he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand and was always very responsive when I had questions outside of our meetings. Saved by Oswald Legal Joondalup from being wrongfully disenfranchised by the WA legal system - both criminal & civil - by way of being the victim rather than the perpetrator.
Unjustly being ostracized and forsaken by the letter of the LAW.
Needless to write, its taken a year of loss of my life (physically & mentally & costly & disheveled & gut-wrenching - to which I wont get back) to have my innocence proven in a Court of Law.
My bona-fides will be forever tarnished by the vindictive, unhinged, & deliberate harassing actions of lesser humans.
I will never trust the system again and will endeavor to tell my story at every opportunity.

Take yr money then say ‘actually we’ve suddenly realised every single lawyer we have is too busy….refuse to refund or to take phone calls...truly unbelievable....Matt esp incredibly disappointing and ‘charges extra’ bse he ‘likes money’ Owner changed names from Cleveland bse of complaints to Law Society…his response to my review is laughable…after every negative review within a few hours a mystery positive review is posted to balance out the negative review thus DO NOT believe the positive reviews as they are fake
