I had several demerit points on the line, for a speeding ticket I had received on HWY 400, so I decided I had to fight the ticket to hopefully avoid insurance increases. It was not a big traffic, so I just followed previous car on normal distance. The officer stopped me and gave me a ticket explaining that it was a sign to reduce the speed. OTT Legal Services in Richmond Hill was such a pleasant experience considering the circumstances. I got a ticket for "disobey stop sign - fail to stop or stop wrong place" (exact wording on the ticket). I requested my full disclosure from the prosecutor's office (everyone has legal right to view all the evidence against them before the trial date) and went to the OTT office in Richmond Hill. I spoke with Marcello and immediately felt at ease with his professionalism and most importantly his knowledge of the court system and traffic laws. I left it in his very capable hands, and the next day after they appeared in court for me (I didn't even have to go), I was notified that the ticket has been thrown out, so no demerit points, no fines! I would definitely recommend OTT York Region, Marcello and the team there really do know what they're doing. And if you're like me and wonder if you should ever spend the money on a paralegal to fight a ticket, it's well worth it based on just the knowledge they have.
