I had a slight dispute with a neighbour in my apartment block in Bentleigh which escalated dramatically, to the point where my neighbours took out an intervention order against me. This was the first time in my life I had two police officers come to my front door , and the first time in my life I had to attend a court setting. Feeling overwhelmed, I approached you guys, and I had the privilege to speak to Sharon on two different appointments. I informed her of my nervousness and fear of this whole court situation , yet she proceeded to give me advice on both occasions, advice I took on. Yesterday, at the hearing, the judge dismissed the intervention order against me, and I felt such relief. I feel like this was due to the advice Sharon had given me. I would like to acknowledge her assistance, and I would also like to thank her for altruistic approach to me, as I understand the allegations placed against me were quite serious and alarming (albeit false), I never felt judged by Sharon. She treated me with compassion and I will eternally be grateful for that. I wish her all the best for her future career, and I hope she sustains that altruism and compassion.

Without their help, my child would have been illegally relocated overseas by my ex without my consent before I even had a chance to bring our family law matter into court. I cannot thank them enough for their legal services.

I have been on the weak side in this family law matter just because I am a male. But with their ongoing assistance to fight for justice on my behalf, I am getting closer and closer every day to seeing my beloved child again.

I made an appointment to speak to someone at this centre. I advised the person on the other end that it was a workplace related issue. She gave me an appointment for 11.45 today. When I arrived, I was told that they only deal with family related matters and that I was booked in for a telephone appointment. I was not told that it was a telephone appointment. Furthermore, I needed to show a document for advice, something that can't be achieved via the telephone. I suggest you get your staff to convey the correct information in future. What a waste of time!
