I do not recommend this solicitor.
For my family a straightforward inheritance became a 2½ year saga.
This solicitor did not answer our phonecalls, respond to answerphone messages, nor acknowledge or answer emails.
Eventually the final payment to beneficiaries was only made 8 weeks after the final statement ( in itself prompted by the ombudsman) because of repeated pressure from the ombudsman.

I had a similar experience to one of the other posts. I had the unfortunate experience of trying to speed up matters with the lawyer Joanna, but to no avail - culminating in an awful & extremely stressful process. My advise to anyone looking for a lawyer - look elsewhere!!

My mother passed away recently - Peter Purcell holds her original will - my solicitors Purcell Balfe & Webb requested the original will in May 2019 so that Probate could be processed and finalised.Peter Purcell did not repsond to numerous requests for the original will to be sent to my solicitor,neither did Peter Purcell respond to an email from me.What would Peter Purcell do in the same situation i.e. his mother passed away and he wished to settle probate but was being hindered by the solicitor who held the will being obstructive and non coppoerative.
