I purchased a used vehicle for $15,000, expecting at the very least some level of reliability — especially after specifically choosing a dealership over a private seller to avoid the risks of buying a "dud."

Unfortunately, after only 10,000km — and keeping the car properly serviced — it now needs both a new rear differential and a complete engine replacement. That’s $1.50 per kilometre just to own a car that’s now undrivable.

To make it worse, when I contacted the dealership just outside the 3-month warranty window, I was basically told “not our problem.” No offer of help, no goodwill, no interest in saving face.

This experience has completely eroded my trust. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a used vehicle from this dealership. If you're thinking you're paying extra for peace of mind — you're not. I would never, under any circumstance, buy from here again.

Had a great experience purchasing a 2018 CX5 from Wally at Automotive Direct. Wally was informative & helpful without being pushy. The car was immaculately presented on collection & the transaction was seamless. After a few weeks of ownership, we were unable to get one particular feature on the car to work. We contacted the dealership & they promptly fit the car in to be assessed, provided a courtesy car & fixed the issue under the stat warranty. Fantastic customer service, highly recommend Automotive Direct!

I had to find a car for my dad who's almost 90. His car was written off. I went to a few small dealers who were dodgy to say the least.

Ended up at Warren's to look at a car advertised online. Spoke to the salesman and told him I was coming in to look at it. My daughter and I arrived. The car was waiting for us. We sat in it, went through the service books, checked out kms on service NSW website, checked out the car, the electrics, made sure everything was working and chatted in it for quite a while.

We then got out and kept discussing the car. We had a look at some other cars while still discussing the car we went to look at. In the meantime the salesman put the car we came for back on the lot. He didn't ask if we wanted to test drive it.

I then had to ask if we could drive it so he drove the car back out.

We drove the car but weren't impressed. We did see another car that we really liked so I asked to test drive that one.

We loved it and we bought it. I'm not complaining about the car. It seems to be great so far. We've only had it a few days.

After the deal was done, we were happy with our purchase.

Overall, I'm happy with the car and so is my dad. That's the most important thing.

When we went to pick it up, it looked beautiful and had a big bow on it which I loved.

I was telling my daughter before we left home that we'd probably be ignored because we are women.

I have taken one star off because I felt we weren't taken seriously at first. Girls do buy cars without men. Sorry Ash.

I will say that I had a great time hassling Ash. I know a bit about the car industry as I worked in it for years. He did a great job and I appreciate that he put up with my antics and determination.

Thank you Ash. I will recommend you to my friends. If I send you a woman, pay attention to her. She might just buy a car. 🤣

Few are the times when one feels compelled to take the time off and write a word about a beautiful, happy experience at any commercial place. And this is one of those compelling times! It gives me great pleasure to sincerely say the following.......

Dear Mathew, THANKS for making my decision to pick up the Nissan Murano easy as a breeze. And when I say my decision in choice of car was a easy one, it means a lot because all though I have driven various vehicles in various countries (with their varied traffic rules) I still do not know the ABCs of the technical part of the purchase process or the workings of the car itself.

More importantly you helped me buy the perfect fit for my driving skills and family requirements.

Above all you took the time off and with a smile made notes of the smallest of details I was keen on (including the PINK bow on the steel grey bonnet). This review is solely for service hours or lack of it - previous dealerships have service running on Saturdays but not Peter Warren which I wished I was privy to prior to purchasing from there 😟 What if you're a full time working parent with one car that needs to be serviced yet the only available days are Mon-Fri. Suggestion to be taken seriously : add service on Saturdays (alternate Saturdays if possible) & if not, provide a curtesy car (as long as the car is in for service) for those who only have that 1 car yet still have to go into work and not to have to fork out more money for an Uber etc when we already have to pay for service.💸💸
I am royally screwed for the next however many years if this continues and I'm sure I'm not speaking for myself. Hope someone in the top dept reads this & takes action.
