A deeply frustrating and disappointing experience.

If you're looking for professional, responsive legal support—look elsewhere. Reaching out to Echo was a waste of time; repeated attempts to contact her were met with silence or minimal response. The thought of entrusting someone so unresponsive with a sensitive family matter is genuinely unsettling. When you're already under emotional strain, the last thing you need is added stress from a solicitor who fails to communicate. If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen it. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Pigdon Norgate. The service was not just poor—it was unacceptable.

I engaged Pigdon Norgate to facilitate my Financial Orders and Consent Orders. Alice Schober had been highly recommended by another solicitor. My settlement was lengthy and complex. Alice was professional yet still compassionate (which I have not encountered previously). Legal issues can be very emotive and Alice guided me with making logical decisions as opposed to decisions where emotions can cloud judgement. I was very happy with the outcome achieved. It was fair and allowed me to move forward without these matters hanging over my head. Alice would always encourage a solution that would avoid me having to go to court which I had expressed to her that I preferred to avoid if at all possible. However, she would not back down if unfair requests were being made by the solicitor engaged by the respondent. I cannot speak for any of the other legal practitioners within Pigdon Norgate as I did not deal with them. For me that was a positive as I have found previously that I would have to repeat my situation repeatedly to another staff member within a law firm and often was speaking with a office member or a law clerk. Worse still, the person I had engaged would then refer my matter to a lawyer with less knowledge and experience within their firm.

Alice was available via phone call or email. I never had to 'chase her' for a response. She was always prompt. The staff at Pigdon Norgate were courteous and I never felt that I was 'just a number''. I have recommended Alice to friends going through similar situations since my settlement concluded.

Hopefully I will never have to deal with legal matters again. If I did, I would definitely be straight on the phone to Alice at Pigdon Norgate.

Client service responsiveness is very poor. Expect to waste your time chasing for follow up. I contacted this office twice over a four week period to engage a lawyer. Twice they took my details, assuring me a lawyer would call me back within a working day. No-one ever called me back. In short, client service integrity and responsiveness very poor.
