After recently celebrating our joint 61st Birthdays, my wife and I came to the shocking realisation that our Last Wills and Testaments were done over 30 years ago, even before the birth of our second daughter. Needless to say we thought it was time for a refresh.
But in the middle of a Covid pandemic, when leaving your home in Sydney, Australia makes you a criminal with potentially large fines, what is one to do.
We were lucky to find Prime Lawyers associate Elizabeth Apokis, whose specialty is in this area. We discussed our thoughts with Elizabeth over Zoom videoconference and she was very helpful in explaining the ramifications if certain decisions were made. Elizabeth was very helpful in helping us structure our Wills and Enduring Guardianship for the 21st Century.
