I had a very old 2015 Mac computer which I was really struggling with and knew I had to do something about it. I contacted Greg after reading his excellent reviews to see what I should do. He came to my house and said I should upgrade that it was too old and slow to do any upgrades etc and told me what to get. I purchased my new Mac and he installed it for me last Wednesday. Its amazing. Greg was very professional and completed the task in 2 hours. I will definitely be using him in future and will happily recommend him to my friends.

Can’t recommend Professor Mac enough, I took my 2017 MacBook Pro into Apple Store and they basically told me it would be replacement of the main motherboard to fix it & even then they weren’t convincing. I asked Greg to quote both full repair to what Apple proposed and also just to recover data. Professor Mac was less than half the cost to do the same repair as Apple, I can’t recommend him high enough!

I took my daughters Macbook Air to be cleaned after it had coffee spilled onto it.

Our 5 year old Mac's drive died and Greg managed to extract a fair bit of data from it (maybe all of it - still working through the numerous files) and replaced the drive at very reasonable rates compared to what Apple and others were quoting. Would not hesitate to recommend for your Mac needs. (And a plea - please ensure you've backed up your files to an external drive/server...)

I contacted Greg about a slow 2015 Mac and was very impressed with the upgrade he carried out, replacing the original hard-drive with a new 2TB solid state drive, as well as performing a full data migration. He was very efficient (it only took a day or two) at a very reasonable price. The machine now performs as-new with lightning-fast app launch times and very fast media uploads from connected devices. As well as great hardware and data migration skills, Greg is across the whole Apple ecosystem and provided a wealth of advice regarding Apple IDs, iCloud, synchronisation, and also tips for exploring the file system for large unused files. If you’re a heavy user of the Mac ecosystem, having Professor Mac aka Greg in your corner is invaluable.
