I phoned this morning an talked to an Asian lady who had no intension to help me, or perhaps had no fundamental knowledge in law. I asked for a Notary to witness my signature on a document that was written in a foreign language. She told me to go and find a Notary who speaks the language in which the document was written. Completely inappropriate and inaccurate. I then went to a solicitor in Bankstown, who spoke my language (that is English) and witness my signature without any problem. This solicitor in Bankstown, who knew what he was doing, told me that for the purpose of witnessing a signature, it was irrelevant the language in which the document was written, because all he was doing was to witness my signature , and he did.

I wonder what other inaccuracies in their knowledge this PKS business might have , if they are not certain and misleading about the most basic things in law.
