Contacted Queensland Workplace & Workplace Injury Law in regards to an employment matter. Was place in contact with Hunter, initially Hunter was very positive and hopeful towards my matter and sent through a letter of offer to represent on a “No win, no fee” basis. Obviously before signing i asked for some sort of cost agreement to understand how much i would be looking if i did win so contacted his team and requested he called back. The moment i asked about fees i felt that Hunters attitude completely changed and became standard off ish then said he is withdrawing his offer to represent because i wasn’t understanding how generous the offer to represent is.

I thought I would take a moment to give QWL a review, not only becasue of my experience but also to respond to the recent review by Oliviah, which in my experience with QWL and Hunter is abit unfair. Hunter always made it clear that he couldn’t guarantee me any outcome. He said to me that he if he couldn’t get a settlement for me that I wouldn’t have to pay QWL any money. Not only did Hunter keep his promise but he took alot less to so that I got more. Hunter gave me a clients costs agreement and explained to me clearly how QWL charged their fees. I never demanded to know from Hunter or QWL how much I could expect to get. You hear alot of bad stories about bad lawyers, trust me QWL and Hunter aren’t one of them.
