Due to previous negative experiences over past 5 years have avoided dining at my local. Was pleasantly suprised recently when asked to join friends for a night out and had a pleasant meal, value for money and staff were welcoming and helpful. Will be back.

Menu covers a variety of tastes, without being overly complicated. Prices reasonable. Staff welcoming and courteous. Meals enjoyable and service timely considering they looked almost at capacity. Will visit again when next in area.

Had dinner with a mate last Friday night. He had steak medium rare which he said was cooked perfectly, I had parmie and chips, again very nice and gravy was nice. Garlic bread with cheese and bacon is always a must! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly. The food was great. We got to taste a variety of quality food cooked well. For us it would've been perfect if the taco was a fish taco to top off all the quality food offered in Tasmania. The seating was spacious and comfortable for us mainlanders here on holiday.

Wanted some place different to go our for tea for my sons birthday.
Get tired of the same old place each time.
So we decided to go checkout riverside hotel for a meal.
And so happy we did.
The food was amazing, the lovely staff added a birthday candle to my son dessert he was so happy..can't wait to come back

Rooms are great kept very clean by the lovely ladies
Food was excellent 👌 Roast Turkey and baked vegetables $18 with a 10% discount for staying here.Bar staff all lovely ladies.

Just went there for dinner, the Rumpy was a bit smaller than 300g, the sides was a joke, 2 mini carrots, 2 pieces of broccoli and one spoon of mash, such a meager dish! As addition I ordered onion rings and they sent 4 thin rings for 4 dollars...at the market 1kg of rings are 4 dollars. For the price we paid, I simply can't recommend the place.
