Unfortunately, my conveyancing lawyer was a very poor communicator.

Twenty-four hours might not seem like a long time to wait for a response to an email, but when you have absolutely no idea if he has received your email after 24 hours, so you send another email to the generic mailbox - just in case he was off sick, and maybe someone else could help me. I received a very terse response from him saying, 'if I haven't answered, it's not because I didn't receive your email, but because I'm busy'. And how am I supposed to know that?
Another email went 3 days without a response, and this was after he had sent me the incorrect paper work to discharge the mortgage and the clock to settlement was ticking.
They then had the audacity to add me as a subscriber to their newsletter without asking for permission.
Not only would I never use RMB again, but I certainly wouldn't recommend them either.

I called for advice over two traffic offences. I had also called another firm. RMB gave me excellent common sense advice over the phone and did not even charge me. The other firm wanted $330 for an initial consult. VERY pleased with RMB!

Worst ive delt with i spoke with hugh pre trial he seamed to be a confidant man but when it came to the trial i may aswell have represented myself and sat there with my mouth shut as the prosecution fed the judge false statements (that i had discussed with hugh and he said he would sort it) because thats all hugh did i feel like the real criminals in that court room were rmb lawyers as i got robbed by them fees of around $1500 for someone to sit there and do nothing its safe to say i will not ever use or recomend rmb lawyers

(Edit: have called rmb lawyers to discuss as per martins request it took 5 phone calls to find out that Martin was not in the office today this just proving to me that rmb lawyers are in no way a professional firm its fine for martin to have a day off but it shouldn't take me 5 phone calls to finally find out Martin wasn't in, just really disappointed with my whole experience with rmb lawyers)
