Firstly my wife and I had six children and have spent half our adult life in Sydney and half in country regions so we have a great deal more experience than most with GP's. I have no reservation about awarding this practice five stars.

While my wife and I are normally channeled to Dr. Lim we are both more than happy to see any of the doctors in this practice.

I have been attending this practice for some years now and was somewhat stunned by the comments by Bob Brown attached to this site to such an extent I felt a responsibility to issue a response.

Firstly I am informed that the maximum time that can be charged to Medicare is 40 minutes. I have on a number of occasions been in the consulting rooms in excess of an hour and on numerous occasions been an hour.

Brown has made very wide claims about constant overcharging and misdiagnosis. Having spent five years of my early adulthood working as a forensic accountant I do query how he accessed the information he has based his claims.

I spoke to the practice manager this morning and she informs me their customer data base shows they have never had a patient by the name of Bob or Robert Brown.

Obviously Brown has an agenda one can only guess about

If you have chronic health problems or anything more taxing than a common cold, then look elsewhere. These are dangerously incompetent and indifferent doctors who are responsible for the mis-diagnosis and mismanagement of too many patients to count. They perform no proper examinations or diagnostic work, do not follow up on test results (and frequently order the wrong tests completely), refer you to the wrong specialists, over-prescribe, misdiagnose repeatedly, and are arrogant and condescending to boot. Medicare is regularly billed for long consultations when only a standard consult has taken place; many patients are billed as "healthcare plan" patients, even when they don't have a healthcare plan in place. They use newly-minted registrars (they're cheap) but don't disclose this to patients or give patients the opportunity to see a more senior physician (assuming one can be found). This is a practice about profit, not patient-care and you should ask yourself why so many patients have left and are continuing to leave.

Great practice, the doctors I’ve seen have all been very professional and very caring. Having lived in Sydney for 48 years and then moving to Robertson this is definitely the best practice I’ve ever been too. Would recommend it to anyone.
