Have been waiting 5 weeks for a reply on an inquiry regarding a privacy breach made by thier own staff.
After paying for the service of witnessing a document. $15000. I was then forced to pay for an extra service, that was invented by this employee and no legal work has been done. Extra $4000 was made to be payed with a $800 owing.
This company has been ignoring and ghosting me. For needing to know why they have not done this expensive legal service.

Used them for my investment property sale in 2023. Would not recommend as I did not find they helped to negotiate or manage the sale well. One of the biggest downfalls was the amount the buyer wanted to reduce the sale price by after the building report and when I initially said I was not agreeable to a price reduction. They came back asking how much of a price reduction I would be open to, I advised my range and they just gave the buyer the highest end of the price reduction, without negotiation. I just didn't feel like they made the process any different to a much cheaper conveyancer I used to buy the property.

My mother wanted to get a lawyer to be her Trustee and Executor of her will as she knew there would be arguments among her children. Her eldest daughter was POA. Her eldest daughter went to Mr Holloway at all times to check to see if she could do what her mother asked and he advised, keep a journal, have a nurse in the room to witness and have everyone sign which she did. She also recorded some of the conversations. Her mother had low dementia. Mr Holloway was Trustee on January 2011. Her mother died July 2015. Her sister asked for an audit and investigation to be performed and was done, and her mother knew of this as the eldest daughter told her mother everything. Her mother was furious and said it was her money and she would do anything with it and nobody would have anything. Mr Holloway did not attend or support any evidence of what he told the eldest daughter (POA). Mr Holloway does not get involved in any matters concerning these issues. Three times before this the eldest daughter, with the mother had gone to Mr Holloway asking
to be released and the mother said no as she had her reasons which Mr Holloway has all the evidence on file. At the end of the outcome the eldest daughter lost the case and she appointed The Public Trustee as POA. A letter was sent to her stating no monies was missing from her mothers account.
When her mother passed everyone received a statement of her estate account except The Public Trustee Section. The eldest daughter phoned over the years for this to be sent from both the Public Trustee Office and Rod Holloway. She even emailed to Mr Rod Holloway & Co for the account from the Public Trustee. It has been 8 years and they have it and still have not sent it to anyone and the family do not talk to each other. Why have lawyers who tell you what to do and not back you up. Why have lawyers who charge heaps and do not send the full account.
