Lovely little shopping centre
Found staff friendly in the shops I visited.
Sadly Big W doesn't have check out staff available..
I am not a check out chick and I am to old to be bothered.
Left an item behind, that would not have happen if there was a proper person serving me.

The accommodation is good and clean as well as the sheets. The sports facilities are well kept. The changerooms at the pool were clean as well. The proximity of a running track, cycling criterium, and pool is useful for triathlons.

Parking can be a bit of a nightmare depending on when you go. Has all 3 major supermarket and a liquor store, missing Kmart which is a shame (has target and big w). Not a good place to go for clothes - mainly clothing for older demographic not young ones.

Centre is being renovated and looks great but they need to work on getting retailers to open for the correct hours.
Twice we have been in to Coffee Club and been turned away because they were closing. Today (Sunday 28/11/21) they turned us away at 1:30PM.

What is going on with Runaway bay shopping centre I’ve been going here for the past 40 years and this used to be the best shopping centre, it had great variety of shops the food court was good but yesterday I was saddened with what I had seen. Firstly we walked around looking for Santa to get photos nope no Santa. Everyone should be good if you want a haircut you have about 6 hairdressers to choose from .🙄. NAB bank gone not even an atm at the food court, everyone must enjoy Sushi cause you have 3 to choose from. I just can’t keep thinking who is in charge of this place, can they not see the place has gone down the shoot? It’s a ghost town, what’s going on with Thursday night shopping everything used to be open till 9pm.
Centre management needs to be cleaned out, clean the place up and bring back the old food court and fill the empty shops I was shocked I hope I’m not the only one thinking this about what was a one stop shopping centre.

Obviously Centre management has put up the rent to an ungodly amount, the fantastic carvery owners, and EB games, both had huge drivers of sales, but Centre Management wasn't happy enough clearly and were happy to move them out in exchange for more casual boutique clothing stores. they would rather have an empty shopping centre with casual stall holders that don't know any better.
Vicinity Centres is by far the worst management company of centres in Queensland, yes even worse than westfield... at least westfield can bring in foot traffic.

Considerably big shopping centre in Ranaway Bay. Compared to Harbor Town shopping centre this place is less crowded. There are all the big super market here in the shopping centre with other departmental stores such as Target and Big W. There is a small food court. Also there are many other small shops with handy discounts.

I love taking my beautiful, elderly mother in law here. Deb is so obliging at customer service with arranging her use of an electric scooter. It’s always a lovely experience for her…and for me! A+ service and kindness!
