A nice way to take in the view of the bay, whilst also giving you the opportunity to explore the islands even more by transporting your car across for you 👌👌👌 (was handy for us to explore the variety properties for sale all over the Island at our own pace, in the comfort of our own car) 👍👍 There’s restrooms for passengers (and kids!!!) available on board and the option to get out of the car and take in the views!
The only thing I can deduct stars on would be the price, but there’s discounts for Island residents which is good. It even that would only be half a star, but this doesn’t allow half stars 😂

I had to cancel all my daughter's life saving treatments and lost $780 in accommodation cost because there was no ferry available. I tried to prebooked but it was fully booked. There was only 2 services for the Thursday. I asked if I could leave my car in terminal and got told there would be no space. They told me I would have to park in the residential streets and risk a fune for the 4 days would have to left.

Always remember you must book before travel, I didn't know this , but you can possibly get on early as a filler, it is expensive, but what can ya do, you wanna play you gotta pay

Crews are great.
I'm a 73 year old island resident pensioner trying to get the resident discount on a used car I bought. I take my Qld Transport New Owner document to the Redland bay office it has all the car details my name and licence number but no address. No worries the web site says you all you need to do is show your drivers licence address. It seems management has not trained these two rude women about the web site "no mate you need a rego or insurance document" "hay the rego isn't due till next year" in the end it is less stressfull to pay the $30 more a round trip than stuff your day trying to talk sense with these Bay Island Vehicle Transport employees.😡
