Nice little library with lots of places to sit down and read or use a computer. You can use theirs or BYO device. Some nice places nearby to enjoy this beautiful suburb. Note the painted electrical transformer box situated in the middle of the roundabout park. Not far from the rotunda.

Nice and quiet place to enjoy reading. Most of the books available without any wait period. Staff is quite helpful with the search, hold or any other request associated with printing and computers booking. Furniture is quite comfortable to sit which facilitates good reading. Toilet is bit of walk for elderly. Corner location means you have to be watchful of traffic and there is no pedestrian crossing. I always enjoy my reading after grabbing coffee from next door.

It's a quaint little library with a cozy ambiance. The librarians are accommodating. It has all the amenities typical of a council library - computers, computerised return shelves, scanners for borrowing, and a special place for children. They also do workshops there.

A pleasant council library situated on the side of the iconic Sandgate Town hall. Offers a quiet environment, not too busy. Not a large library but you can always place an order for any books not on the shelf. Computers with internet access available.

Situated in a beautiful building in the heart of Sandgate's town centre. Love the quirky early 1900s features - moulded pattern ceiling, rounded windows and a warmly lit interior. The only downside is, it's tiny. If you want to study without distraction this is not the place for it. I thought it was an unspoken rule that you should talk quietly when visiting a library however some people don't quite get that memo. Too many people using the same public space at any one time is never a good thing.

Friendly staff, just the right size to not be overwhelming. Good selection of Childrens books and DVDs. If you want a specific book you may need to put it on hold and get it delivered to the library
