I unfortunately had to make the hard decision to have one of my beloved chickens go over the rainbow bridge. I have 14 in total and I love them all I have over the year had to put a few to sleep it never gets easier saying good bye I have used 3 different vets in and around Mackay but I can’t thank the Sarina vet team more when I was sent a loving card for my muffin chicken. They are so sweet to be so caring to sent a card even for a chicken. I will definitely continue to go back to Sarina.

Pulse not recommend this clinic more. So caring and compassionate and friendly. Traveling our little Jack Russell Meg’s got very sick. We went to there clinic first thing in the morning and they were wonderful. She had to stay overnight on a drip as she had Pancreatitis. The staff kept us informed and were just amazing. Wish Rebecca was in Melbourne.

Visiting Sarina after our shih tzu got biten by spider. .I called the vet surgery Michelle was so helpful over phone and got us straight in as a visitor on a busy day with just 1 amazing vet there
Sorry I can't remember vets name or the lady she had learning beside her but the care,love and compassion for our gorgeous girl was amazing and pebbles is going great even though she hides when her tablet come out

Around 5am on 6 December our dog was nearing the end of her life when we called the Sarina vet surgery. (Our Mackay vet was not available & the other local vet did not accept new patients in an emergency). Since our dog had been to Sarina vets prior to our move to Mackay, we called them. By the time we arrived it was too late for our beloved girl but we will be forever grateful to the vet for answering our questions & discussing next steps. Also of note was the high level of care & compassion provided at one of the most distressing times of our lives. Heartfelt thank you for your support.

Ridiculously incompetent. Tried to transfer dogs there from another vet. Sent History through multiple times. Multiple phone calls. Comes to day of appointment and gotta do it ALL again. Now I try to organise refill of prescription and there's no history on file except the one check up we went there for which was an utterly stressful, rushed experience in a cramped space with headless chook staff. Will be driving to town instead, not worth the stress of trying to support local in this case.

Cannot fault this vet. Have had a couple times now where I've had to call up as there's been something wrong with one of my dogs and they're absolutely fantastic. Seen straight away and nothing is ever an issue. Highly recommend as they're extremely professional and friendly.

Through-out the years of going here, the staff were usually quite nice. However after an incident that resulted in euthanization I will never go here again.

I will not go into details but if you are thinking about taking your pet in for anything more than a check up please for the sake of your pet go somewhere else.

Travelling through town and picked up a dog that had broken off its leash and was running down the middle of the highway. Took it to these people and they were "very sorry" but couldn't help me. They were "not permitted" to take lost pets. Absolutely appalled at their behaviour. Never had a vet anywhere else turn away a lost pet. Glad I don't live in this town with my dog.
