Apart from Emmanuel Morgan this firm has very kind people working for them.

Our matter was a criminal matter and highly important as it was involving a 19 year old. This was the most emotional and distressing time in our lives. Emmanuel Morgan was sloppy in his work, forgot important dates like actual court hearings, never returned phone calls or emails and didn't take direction from his client. In one incident a judge asked Emmanuel why something wasn't signed and he replied "I didn't know it needed to be signed, sorry your honour."

During one of the court dates Emmanuel decided to leave to America and did not notify us. He sent a colleague to court and the colleague said "sorry but Emmanuel didn't leave any notes I don't know what we are doing today." This lawyer then asked us to wait 3hrs. He sent his friend into court with us from another firm to adjourn.

I thought this was just inexperience from Emmanuel's end and I found another lawyer. After already having paid Emmanuel $7,000 I had to start all over again. Unfortunately Emmanuel didn't just disappoint with criminal matters, he also took over $8000 from another client for a family court matter and also came to hearings unprepared and didn't come to court at all in the end leaving the client in mediation on her own. We didn't know we had the same lawyer until my colleague and I were having a conversation about useless lawyers.

I cannot speak about the other lawyers in this firm and their work but I can say they were friendly. If Emmanuel still works at this firm ask for someone else.
